Dental Procedures Is it time? Regular dental cleanings are an essential part of preventive care for your pets. Our dental cleanings include a thorough examination of your pet's teeth and gums, as well as scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatment. This helps remove plaque and tartar buildup, which can lead to gum disease and other dental issues. Sometimes, dental issues can require more extensive treatment. Our experienced veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians are trained to perform a wide range of dental procedures, including tooth extractions. We use the latest technology and techniques to ensure your pet receives the best possible care. Even though I live in RIverside County, I commute down to Valley Center Veterinary Clinic because of their extraordinary care. They showed nothing but wonderful support and compassion when I had to euthanize my "heart dog", Jack Sparrow. Now, they are taking great care of my Spazz Dog, Scully. And they have always done the best for Haley, my Senior Pittie. Love this clinic and would reccommend to anyone!

KUDOS to Dr. Ito for nailing the diagnosis and treatment of my dog! Took him in on an emergency. She listened to me and reviewed his chart (a regular with Dr. Clarke whom we also dearly love) took time to "meet" Echo on his level and nailed it! She recognized the seriousness, showed us what she was looking at and scheduled surgery. When I called at the end of the day because he was worse, she gave him injections because he was unable to take food/med by mouth and moved his surgery up to the following morning. She saved my dogs life I think. I don't think he would have made another day. She called in a great surgeon, Dr Kato who removed the retrobulbar abscess along with four teeth and Echo is now on the road to recovery thanks to their good, swift action.
